Sandomierz - 95 km from the hotel

The city is located on seven hills by the Vistula River at the junction of two geographical regions: the Kielecko-Sandomierz Upland and the Sandomierz Basin, 85 km from Kielce and 15 km from Tarnobrzeg.

The mentions of Sandomierz as a city date back to the 12th century in the records of the Chronicle of Gallus Anonymus. Once the seat of princes (Henryk Sandomierski, Bolesław Kędzierzawy, Leszek the White, Bolesław the Chaste) and the residence of kings (Kazimierz Sprawiedli).

Today it is an important tourist center. The most important monuments of the city: the medieval market with the 14th-century town hall, the Opatów Gate, the Church of St. Spirit, Church of St. James, Collegiate Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Collegium Gostomianum, Długosz House, Castle, Needle's Eye.
